Seat padding, is subjected to endurance tests and is compressed with a 75 kg weight up to 80,000 times to guarantee strength. Frames and non-moving, load-bearing parts undergo a strength test with weights of up to 160 kg dropped onto the upholstered furniture for 30,000 cycles.

The special treatment that Himolla gives its leather does not just ensure a long service life; it also makes it extremely easy to look after. Each fabric must prove its endurance during regular abrasion tests. Each leather is tested for its durability with intensive attrition tests. The cover materials are tested in line with the strict requirements of the RAL-GZ 430 (DGM quality conditions).
