To clean, regularly wipe down with a cloth using a solution of water with a mild detergent (such as dish soap). Dry with a with a 100% cotton cloth. Wipe any spill immediately with damp cloth. This collection features a performance finish, which is resistant to most household spills and easy to clean. While offering this enhanced protection, this finish still allows the natural beauty and rich texture of the wood to shine through.

Protect the surface from extreme heat – if it’s too hot for your hand, use a coaster or mat. Place your wood furniture item away from sources of moisture, such as humidifiers. Place coasters under beverages and use placemats under plates or serving dishes. Place felt pads under items that may scratch the surface and use a protective pad when using a ballpoint pen.

Cleaning - Cleaning: use a 100% cotton (not synthetic) cloth, slightly dampened with water, for dusting wood surfaces and dry thoroughly.

Care - Place this piece away from sources of moisture, such as humidifiers. Place felt pads under anything that may be abrasive or will set on your piece for a prolonged period and use a protective pad when using a ballpoint pen. Fabric - Vacuum this piece regularly with an upholstery attachment (not a brush), this reduces abrasion and wear. For spills, always keep the cushion cover on to clean – then blot, don’t rub, with a dry absorbent white cloth. The fabric you choose has a specific cleaning code for spill treatment. For dirt and dry spills, brush off and vacuum before particulates become embedded in fabric fibers. Limit fading with window treatments if this is going to be near a window. Heating and air outlets can also fade fabrics, as well as damage the fibers over an extended time. Some fabrics may occasionally show signs of pilling with heavy traffic. This does not affect the integrity of the fabric and can be limited with frequent removal of dust and lint, which can come from clothing and throws. To remove any pills, we recommend using a fabric shaving / lint removing tool.
