Hooker® Furniture Big Sky Bronze/Vintage Natural Stool

Hooker brings home a dream of wide-open spaces and a life lived in tandem with iconic landscapes with furnishings that evoke the weight, heft and heritage of post and beam construction, the mark and artistry of true craftspeople, and substantive, thoughtful designs right for today. Watch for warm, rustic, hickory veneer, and rich finishes like charred timber, dusk, and avalanche, organic textures like burlap and top grain leather, forged hardware, and classic moldings for the traditionalist. Those with a more modern bent will gravitate toward the clean lines of waterfall edges, crosshatch surfaces and planking details that speak to authenticity and the hand of the maker. Welcome to the peaceful, easy feeling of Big Sky. It’s time to simply breathe.

Finish: Vintage Natural: a warm, rustic, organic finish over hickory veneers. Distressing includes chopping, rock, drawknife, gauging, chain distressing and wire brush.

Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.

Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

Headquartered in Martinsville, Va. where we maintain a corporate office and several distribution facilities, Hooker Furniture employs around 800 people at our Virginia and North Carolina locations. Our high-fashion custom upholstery by Sam Moore Furniture is manufactured in Bedford, Va. Much of our upscale leather upholstery line is manufactured in Hickory, N.C. by Bradington-Young. Hooker also imports an extensive line of wood bedroom, living room accents, dining room, home office and home entertainment furniture and some leather furniture from factories around the world. These include factories in Asia, Mexico and Central America. The design and engineering of these imported furnishings is all carefully overseen by Hooker or Bradington-Young in compliance with our high quality standards.

Hooker is known as an active, contributing corporate citizen in the Virginia and North Carolina communities in which we work and live. Our company is a leading contributor to charitable organizations such as the United Way, education and the arts, and our employees provide service to these organizations through volunteerism and board memberships. The Hooker Educational Foundation has awarded more than one million dollars in scholarships to over 300 children of company employees since its inception in the 1990's.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the American wilderness and the artistry of craftspeople, the Big Sky Stool has a vintage design featuring a shaped wood seat and metal legs and stretchers. The stool seat is finished in a warm, natural finish over rustic Hickory Veneers.

Hooker® Furniture Ciao Bella Speckled Gray Spindle Back Bar Stool

With a casual chic spin on classic European farmhouse and cottage style, the graceful silhouette of the Ciao Bella spindle back bar stool is destined to be a favorite of family and guests alike. The compelling speckled gray finish with a gently worn antique patina and hand distressing adds to the charm and versatility.

Hooker® Furniture Curata Midnight/Montlieu Opal Upholstered Bar Stool

Chic and modern with an eclectic mix of a fabric upholstered seat and inside back, white oak veneer wood on the outside back and a metal foot rail, the 41 ¼-high curata bar stool is comfy and inviting in a midnight finish and upholstered in the neutral montlieu opal fabric.

Hooker® Furniture Hill Country Comfort Black/Huntington Collis Dining Barstool

You'll want to linger and gather for hours around your bar or pub table in the inviting Comfort Barstool. The seat is upholstered in an aniline top grain leather, and the back is in a woven, desert-colored fabric, and both are accented with bronze nailhead trim. The bobbin-style stretchers and legs add authenticity.
